Yataiii!!!! turns out a couple hours later that I have managed to complete scene 2, still some small things that could be tweaked, we shall see on Mondays meet-up. Tomorrow I can start to work on scene 4 of the animatic, which should be fairly short (i hope so)..... Total length of this scene 2 is 20 seconds which ran over our rough estimate from 3rd script of 7.5 seconds, not too bad seeing as some things may need a cut.... here is a small video of the animatic available as full screen also...enjoy

Animatic - Scene 2
Currently I am trying my best to finish off scene 2 of the animatic after Jess' input and help on changing a few things. it's now a lot more colourful and we actually needed to see the changes in the colour to be able to understand what is happening. I hope to finish off this tonight and start on scene 4 tomorrow (Friday) which hopefully is a short scene and so I can make a start on scene 7, the scene before the end. It's quite a large scene so I don't think I will be able to get it finished. Jess kindly offered to help me create it, I agreed that I will do as much as possible and pass on what I have managed to produce. This should speed things up as our animatics were meant to be finished by Friday so that on Monday week 6 we can start on the 3D blockout. A small render post will be on the way soon....

Tree House concept
I have been working on some concept for the environments and more specific the owl's tree house and "Little owl's" bedroom. It's very 60's/70's style with thanks to Jess' research, I've used elements such as the lava lamps, the little robot and the funky egg chair (which is a personal favourite of mine)... I should of maybe coloured it in funky colours rather than gray shaded it. :-s

Pigeons again :)

Here's the pigeon's again but I'm trying to narrow down on their designs.
- There's the godfather pigeon at the bottom, I like that he's going to be one of those randomly fat pigeons that you catch sometimes in London, I've also added some accessories to establish that he's different from the others, hopefully people will see the connection to the stereo-type and know that he is the boss.
- The muscle on the left is the less-talk more-action type, the glasses I've given him was to kind of add that whole bad-boy personality and the feathers are tuffed up around his colar to kind of match when kids put their colars up in school.
- The lanky but square shouldered one on the right is meant to represent that kind of chatty gangster that won't shut up, laughs at everything the boss says and is quite annoying, I got the shoulder's off Asa's initial designs making it look like the pigeon is wearing a suit with very huge shoulder pads.
